I’m 4 episodes in, and I’m really obsessed
I really appreciate these informed and well framed and trauma informed perspectives from lived experience. The blogger is a very talented writer, as the scripts are always on point. Audio is an easier format too, so it’s great. I am so tired of professionals as podcasters (doctors and psychiatrists and PhD’s and best selling authors), I find them for the most part unhelpful. So for lived experience that is informed, it’s a breath of fresh air. I’m 32 and I’m already at a point where just being a functional adult is almost impossible despite a lifetime of therapy and cycle breaking. I was functioning better back when I was in the trauma than now that I’m left alone with the haunting memories and the biopsychosocial.
