Reflecting on Lessons from Thailand
Listen now
Description
In this episode, I reflect on what I learned in Thailand. I share Buddhist teachings from my Thai mom, Goi and discuss how her words impact my daily life. I talk about the phrase "no mud, no lotus" and how I learned we must all suffer to see the beauty of life. I also talk about " The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz and how those agreements shape my life. I connect my findings from Buddhism and the four agreements with materialism and my personal standards for how I can live my best life.
