Truth and Spirit
I really appreciate this podcast. As a yoga teacher myself for several years, I have noticed the creep of buzzy Q-nonsense in memes and social media that seem to travel far in the wellness industry. The way people cling to the hyper-individualistic “divine light being” stuff in New Age and yoga spaces reminds me of the reasons I stopped going to church and broke off from formal religion. I’m really thankful that these guys are picking apart why this happens, what it’s about, and the ableism and racism in the money-making parts of this industry that are easy to fail to be aware of.
