Thoughtful, honest, courageous, humbling
It was a privilege to hear Nova Reid interviewing Layla Saad. Their combined honesty, wisdom, compassion, thoughtful gentleness and robust boundary-keeping - and their courageous discussion about the racist pain inflicted on them as Black children (and the consequent pain their inner children still carry) - is humbling. And it makes me, as Layla Saad said at the end of the podcat: want to 'Understand the reality of the [racist] situation' and know that 'I can do something about it.'Read full review »
