Keeps respectful discussion alive
Usually I'm not one for leaving reviews, but felt I absolutely had to convey my appreciation for this podcast. Media today tends to divide us into loops that reinforce our pre-existing beliefs, which can help us stay aware of issues that matter to us - but can also dehumanizes these contrasting beliefs and the people behind them. "Conversation With People Who Hate Me" is an amazing podcast that tears down this wall between social media circles. Instead of approaching today's relevant issues through slander and hateful discourse, both parties are given the opportunity to present their views, listen to the other, and leave the conversation with a greater understanding on what informs the other person's beliefs. This is the type of media I am glad to welcome into my life, helping me and others to understand the contrasting views of those on the other side of the screen and learn from them. We may not accept their views, and can continue to disagree, but we will be able to recognize the human and experiences behind the opinion and keep up respectful conversations. I'm looking forward to more, and keep up the good work Dylan!Read full review »

Dylan has an incredible clarity in these conversations, leading to a daring experiment: what if you could talk to an otherwise anonymous person trolling you online?
