Conversations, not arguments
There seems to be a mentality that when you have an opinion about something that differs from someone else's, you have an obligation to change their mind to your way of thinking - and that doing so through raised voices, shutting people down, and screaming hatred and blind insults is acceptable in doing so. This isn't that. And I'm so glad because the world needs more of this. It's legitimately a conversation. No raised voices, hearing the other person out fully without interrupting. Agreeing to disagree without the too-common "I agree to disagree - but first let me get the last word in". Moving on to a new topic before the discussion becomes cyclical and spirals downward into a frustrating debate. It's refreshing. When both sides are given an opportunity to actually listen, you also find you have more common ground than you'd think. I found aspects from both sides that I agreed with, even though I disagreed with lots of what one side said. Communicating respectfully leads to peace, and understanding, and love for this planet and its inhabitants. Thank you Dylan for spreading this; it's something the world sorely needs more of. Listening like this seems to be in short supply right now, but this gives me hope.Read full review »

This podcast seems a breath of sanity in an age where banter with those who disagree with you and your expressed opinions is in dire need. Can't wait to listen to the first episode!Read full review »
