Such an interesting sociological investigation that weaves together so many elements and does so with nuance and intrigue.

This podcast series covered so many significant aspects of the events, the context, the times, the people and systems at play. Deep respect for the kids, the crèche workers, Peter and his supporters and compassion towards everyone involved. Tom.

Well done on this series, deeply researched and very well put together. It's a pity the families who still believe that Peter Ellis somehow managed to secretly commit a wide range of crimes in an open and busy daycare centre didn't want to participate. Considering the weakness of the...Read full review »

Lived next door at the time, walked past the CC building every day, can confirm the accusations as described were not physically or chronologically possible. This godawful travesty is a reminder to everyone that no one is safe from psychosocial hysterics or those who profit from it. Shame on...Read full review »

I’ve listened to many true crime podcast series in my time and this one has to be one of my faves. It has the research and compelling storytelling of ‘casefile’, the intrigue and journalism of ‘teachers pet’ and wit of ‘my fave murder’. Love it team!!

I initially thought, having listened to another podcast on the case, this podcast might not add much. I was wrong. It’s a very in depth coverage of the case done in an evenhanded way. Congratulations to the team who made it.

Admittedly too late, but this has highlighted that right from the start the legal odds were stacked...Read full review »

I think this podcast has done a fantastic job of summarising the facts of this case. Highly entertaining and has my jaw on the floor constantly

This podcast is free of spams and adds. Well made podcast. Objective, both sides of the story. Great journalism!

A biased presentation of information that lacks nuance, openness, and curiosity.

A great insight and exploration into a part of Aotearoa’s recent history.

3 eps in and lots of victim blaming and excuse making by those closest to the perpetrator. No doubt invested in his innocence so they don’t feel the guilt of this happening under their nose

This story has already been very thoroughly done in a different podcast series..
