Great addition to his books
Growing up I had always wanted to cook, but didn’t know where to start. Instead I just watched my mother cook. When I finished college I was gifted Cal’s first book. I related so much to it, sometimes forgetting the book was wrote for his son and not I. Years later I am much more comfortable in the kitchen and love cooking. Risotto could not have been a better first podcast as it was my first dish in his book that I felt like I truly created something, and was also what I was making yesterday, the same day I discovered this podcast. Although I was very familiar with his risotto recipe, it was fantastic hanging out with him and Francis as we made our risotto. Cal, thank you for all the content you have put out, inspiring people like me to just get into the kitchen, and I look forward to making many more meals with you and your friends!
