“Mona can talk about what she wants & have an opinion. But so can listeners. It gets frustrating when influencers say listeners are just “trolling” and they can do what content they want (as I’ve heard Mina state before). That’s true but listeners are what make influencers careers possible so comments like that can be off putting (not to say influencers should take abuse). With that being said, this is not trolling and not a political agenda... I get what Mona/ her therapist are TRYING to say but in a society where incels are now a big enough subculture and suppressing DEI initiatives (yes, that includes woman) are a real concern…I think we should choose how to say things more carefully when having a platform. Out of context or for people whose only education is social media… what is being said can be misconstrued. The reality is woman are paid than male counterparts & are medical rights are also under attack so being “strong” isn’t being “masculine” …it’s being strong. Also, being strong doesn’t mean hating men. To put this in such black & white terms can be dangerous and divisive. I enjoy Mona, especially her health content but had to stop listening because it seemed like she was just trying to be contrarian. Thumbs down for me on 1st episode.”
