I love this podcast! If Andy and Naomi had a baby, it would be me. I play the pods everywhere and it feels like family. This quirky Black and awkward writer who teaches gives five stars!

I listen to this podcast all the time. I love Naomi’s humor and her voice is super soothing! I’m starting to listen to the earlier episodes I missed and they are so fun but I really love both Naomi and Andy’s interview style/dynamic. What a team!

Long-time listener, first-time reviewer. Andy is dead weight on this show and is so pedantic, always mentioning what’s going on “in his head” as if it’s uncharted territory but ends up being some Three Stooges-esque slapstick bit. I find myself actually saying aloud: shut. up. Apparently he’s a...Read full review »

I’ve been listening for years and find so much relief, engagement, laughter, tears, and learning. I love how inclusive they are in their guest appearances and how the questions are answered in genuine ways. I try never to miss an episode, unlike most podcasts where I listen for a while but then...Read full review »

Gosh darn are these two the sweetest, most genuine podcast hosts out there 🥰🙌🏻 thanks for making me smile (and often learn!) every week, Naomi and Andy!! Okay, bad date stories, luckily (or not?) I have a ton. Here’s a recent one: I matched with a guy on Tinder and we planned to meet up at a...Read full review »

Where were Andy & Naomi when I, (boring white cishet female, she/her, late 30s) was on a panicked and rabid dating spree scouring the suburbs for a baby-daddy?! On one dating adventure with a “gent” who described himself on “The Apps” as “Happy-Go-Lucky”, I turned up to meet said HGL for a...Read full review »

Couples therapy is like my comfort blanket that makes me laugh. 5 stars ALWAYS. Back in 2017 I went on a second date with a girl from bumble. During a snow storm. I went from Manhattan to Brooklyn to hang out with this girl at her apartment. We have a drink, watch TV, and then start hooking up...Read full review »

In the years before Grindr and Scruff, I met some guy off of manhunt. I should’ve known it was a bad idea to meet him when I walked up and he lived above a preschool. It was after hours and the swing blowing in the breeze making shadows across the yard was truly chilling. This man looked nothing...Read full review »

(I can’t bear to be on the apps so I don’t have any horror stories) This podcast is consistently funny as heck. Introduces me to new comedians, never problematic, always very honest and real. Animal lovers, and gets people to go DEEP for real. I love this podcast!!!

Love your approach to people’s difficult relationship advice. Helped me during a rough but loving relationship. Met a guy on a dating app. Strike one: his profile pic had him with an artsy pink buzzcut, so imagine my surprise seeing a man walk up to me with a whole BOWL CUT. He rode his electric bicycle to the date, which brings us to strike two: he arrived 47 minutes late, bike battery in hand, and starts...Read full review »

I was set up with a man using a dating service so hadn’t met him before. Just listened to the Samatha Irby episode and Samantha has a new fan. Couples Therapy is like eavesdropping on a conversation at my favorite restaurant. I’m laughing out loud. Glad I’m listening at home or I’d lose my job. Love you guys and your guests! Samatha Irby was a 100 out of 10!

You asked 🤷‍♀️. A couple years ago I went on a Hinge first date at the Chicago zoo… adorable, right? Well, it started to go sideways when it was over 90 and I had 2 fun gummies he brought. A testament: there are only 2 non-positive opinions you’ll see listed here, from 2 people who are confused about: 1. This show not suiting its parent brand - it’s…not a part of that brand at all! 2. Whether this show is a blatant copy of another show with the same name - this show preceded that...Read full review »

Love Naomi but Andy is pathetic. He doesn’t add anything to the conversation and only takes away from the podcast. He only adds despair and wallowing in his own misery without a hint of redemption. His constant lamentations are a dreary monologue that only deepens his isolation. Listening to him...Read full review »

Andy, you give great advice. Just don’t book another appointment with your current therapist. You’ll be fine. Start looking for another therapist and move on. I’ve done that, and it was fine. Things don’t have to be dramatic or overthought. Good luck!
