Our 25th Episode!! Filler does the Talk Talk as he talks about the English Rock band from the early eighties, Talk Talk and their song “It’s my life.” You probably know the cover version better than the original but I have a feeling by the time Side A is over, you’ll be more inclined to listen to the original…. And our Side B is one that is near and dear to my Francophile heart. I felt very inspired to research two of my favorite artists of all time – Edith Piaf and Louis Armstrong who happen to both have brilliant recordings of the same song: La Vie en rose. It’s quite hard to call Louis’s version a cover song because he make it uniquely his own. But we will dive deep into the lives of these incredible artists from a bygone era and hope you stick with us for the journey.
