Jacob and Pam hit the nail on the head every time, and it’s why I never miss an episode. The “will programs replace teachers” is one in particular that must be heard and shared. If we want to keep real teaching and learning at the center, then we should all be listening to the sage advice shared...Read full review »

Always inspiring to listen to!! For those looking to connect Science of Reading and workshop in my opinion these 2 nail it! Jacob and Pam have reenforced so much about what I believe students need in order to grow as individuals through reading and writing. Their banter is fun; they seem to really enjoy learning from each other.

I find myself listening to some episodes multiple times due to the rich insights the hosts offer. I cannot wait to get my hands on the book. I love, love all the book mentions and have quite the “To be read” list based on the recommendations given. Thank you both.

Love this podcast! Starting using craft & draft this year! The brainstorming activities really help the kids get past the “I don’t know what to write about”. With all the ideas recorded in one place, makes it easy for the students to refer back to when writing.
