Whichever over-thinking producer decided to move this programme outdoors, to be hosted live at venues while local tannoy announcers prattle away about their ticket & refreshment information in the background, should be shot. Get it back into the studio, into a controlled, relaxed environment...Read full review »

A group of English cricket writers gives a good weekly rundown of the major stories in the England cricket press. The podcast is only released during the England cricket season, which is a pity. This sort of programming is a godsend to England cricket supporters living abroad in non-cricketing...Read full review »

Always a good listen as cricket journos always know their stuff even the ones who haven't played at highest level. So much better than its football equivalent which Sky are bringing back when it should let this run for longer.Read full review »

Excellent analysis with Paul Allott a great anchor. Pity it'll finish ahead of the end of the season to make way for the Sunday Supplement and the awful, ponderous, Paddy Barclay- he's probably just finishing off an answer from last May !! Agree with others, this should continue to cover...Read full review »

I've only recently discovered this podcast and it is an absolute gem. They have a good selection of analysts and cover a great deal about English cricket and the debate is lively. Great listening for the cricket season and I can't bring to mind a single criticism.Read full review »

Very good in depth discussion and analysis, and as others have said on here, such a shame it is only on for 10/12 weeks of the year. Shame Sky can't put it on maybe once a month during winter - especially as more tends to happen in international cricket over the winter anyway!Read full review »

This is the podcast of the brilliant sky sports show cricket writers on TV. About the only slightly hugh brow thing on sky sports so why on the 1st August is it this shows last outing for the season before even the 1st real test of the summer has ended. I guess it will be making way for football...Read full review »

Loves the discussion and like how in depth the conversations get! One thing could they put the photos of the headlines from the papers in? Like chris moyles show does photos? Just wondering not a compliant!

Must listen if you are a serious cricket lover. Great insight, covering all the current cricket issues, very interesting and varied opinions, and that too delivered by very knowledgable cricket writers.

This is the podcast version of the Sky-produced Cricket Writers on TV. For cricket fans, this is indispensible punditry. Probably watched by only a few hundred people, this is one of the most intelligent analyses of the modern state of cricket. Covers internationals, domestic, county matches,...Read full review »
