Follow the money
Good lord, there is nothing sensationalistic about this podcast. It all sounds so familiar. I know a lot of people who’ve been on the inside of TX ren fest, and people who’ve had their lives ruined there in ways that are just as bad as some of the stories in this podcast. All for the sake of money money money. Thank you for shining a light on this awful place!

This podcast is fascinating. It is well researched and written. The compelling manner, in which it is told will leave you wanting more. Listen to it before you go to your next Renaissance Festival.

Six episodes in and I’m riveted. The writing is great, and the host feels like your one friend at the bar who always tells the weirdest stories. I’ve heard rumors about this ren fair, but this is wild.

Eh
Super scripted and horribly cheesy. I live near the Texas Ren Fest and have gone there many times. It’s a rowdy festival and everyone around here knows that. This podcast tries to make it sound really nefarious, but it’s a bit excessive. Not a fan.
