What’s with the earsplitting volume level of the ads? Deeply annoying.

This was my favourite podcast, hoping Eileen and Adam return! Extremely well researched, with considered and well paced delivery.

I came across this podcast via link from a very detail-oriented, well-researched, expertly-written, captivatingly-narrated podcast, "TWAU." The CrimeLapse website is horribly inadequate and the two sentence show description contains a glaring error. If the basics cannot be respected, how...Read full review »

This show covers true crime in a thoughtful, comprehensive and respectful tone. I usually avoid 2 host shows because of the filler and what I consider, disrespectful banter. This is not like that. Both women have great voices and they are very good writers. Try it out if you like serious true...Read full review »

This podcast is great, I wish I had come across is earlier but having episodes to binge is the best. I LOVEEEE when a podcast uses primary audio and it does just that. The guests and/or victims who have bravely told their stories have been a great addition. 10/10. Wish I had 100 more episodes to...Read full review »

The man is clearly looking down reading off a paper instead of speaking into a mic. He’s not emotive at all. You have to turn the volume up to hear him, then when the sound clips of news story’s or old interviews play, they are blaringly loud. He should take a public speaking course.

Their voices just drone on and on.

I’ve just found this podcast. And I love it. Very detailed and sensitively narrated. Lovely accents, too, Irish and English, easy on the ears.

Can’t believe I’ve only just found this podcast! I’m completely addicted and have been listening non-stop!!!!! I love how in depth the info is and there’s even actual police confessions!? My only complaint is that it doesn’t come out weekly lol but I’ll be patient for their quality

Two of the best tag team narrators in the genre. These gals could tell me I was being executed in the morning and I’d probably yawn and say “thanks”. Keep up the awesome work!

While there are two hosts to this podcast, they don’t speak together and instead subtly hold different positions in telling the stories. Their voices are calm and well paced and hold the interest of the listener. Each episode is very well researched. The stories avoid inclusion of unnecessary...Read full review »

Update review early 2021 I’m not sure what happened but the young lady with less of an accent has so many random pauses. WHY?? I don’t mind the mellow tempo but sometimes it doesn’t go well with all the add ins or clips, but I can work past that but those pauses are killing me. Original...Read full review »

I rarely listen to podcasts with 2 presenters becos they tend to do silly jokes and act just plain silly, while the quality of the podcast reflects this. However, the two presenter approach to this podcast is absolutely great. They get straight into the crux of the story and each story is well...Read full review »

Crimelapse is an amazing podcast that doesn’t waste time on small talk. They tell the story in a straightforward way but with detail and heart that keeps you riveted to the end. I give it ten stars out of 5.

Love the voices and stories, but the word “Qoute” need to minimize.
Cool-Ruler via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/19/21
I really want to love this podcast, but the constant use of “quote” and “unquote” is truly unnecessary. Please, when you edit your podcast, notice how often it’s said and if you could eliminate this, your podcast would be flawless. It’s realllly distracting. Thank you.

Half decent podcast but unfortunately I can’t listen anymore as one voice grinds on me. These girls do a good wee job and are very articulate- maybe a little over articulate and try pronouncing their words too much. I also find the excerpts from interviews difficult to understand sometimes.

I love the voice, the impeccable English and no use of profanities. The stories are detailed and interesting and lengthy enough for me. I recommend this podcast greatly.

This show it straight up to the point no unnecessary chatter and that’s just the way I like my true crime However, in the Mandy episode I couldn’t understand one word her cousin said. It became comical;-). Keep it up you’re doing a great job.

I love these two podcasters! They have such soothing voices and handle these stories with respect and grace. Very well produced. My only complaint is I want more, more, more!

Sorry to say my hearing is not the net and though the hosts are clear enough to this American ear, the recorded voices of people involved are not. But that’s my problem. Otherwise I think it would be very good.

You ladies do such an incredible job. You get to the story without any back and forth banter. You get right to the point and tell the story in well researched yet respectful to the victim and their families detail. I’m so excited I found your show and subscribed ASAP. Keep up the amazing work. 👍🏼
