Love the variety of this show
I love that you never know what kind of story you will hear when you start this podcast. It’s so well done! I also love the shorter format, as nothing seems to be drug out to meet an hour long segment like some other crime podcasts. With regard to latest episode…I did miss Phoebe’s narration and found it very difficult to listen to the other narrator due to vocal fry. That aside though, this is a factual story about corruption amongst Correctional Officers and DESERVES to be told. They don’t deserve to be protected from their abusive behavior just because the victims happen to be inmates. I’m appalled at the other reviewer who basically said they were going to stop listening to their favorite podcast because she and her husband work in corrections and were offended by the episode. SO DO I, and I would NEVER want to shield the public from this knowledge. It’s literally what this episode is about…covering up criminal behavior to shield fellow COs from the punishment they deserve - and it seems like this reviewer is advocating for the COs involved just because they are COs.

Really requires your attention; zero fluff like some podcasts (which are still good). Good to listen to with a friend, b/c you'll probably want to have a little debate.Read full review »
