“For years I’ve listened to criminal and genuinely loved this show. It used to be about interesting crimes and quirky people - easy to digest and often fun. I regretfully can’t say I have the same enjoyment for the show anymore.
Listen to the last 15 episodes (maybe even more) and you’ll find that they’re following a tragic downward spiral. They almost always have nothing to do with criminals but silly stories. It feels like the writers can’t think of a single thing to cover worth talking about. There’s also many attempts to plug other shows which have NOTHING to do with the content of this show. I just recently sat down hoping for once to hear something interesting to be surprised that I’m hearing about some old Japanese man and his love for birds..
*sigh*
The only criminal thing here is the content this show releases of late.”
