Journalism made perfect
My boyfriend and I, believe it or not, often fall asleep or wake up and listen to Into the Killing (or the narrator’s other show, Criminally Listed.) The many friends I’ve shown each show to first have something to say about his tone, but are then sold on it due to the solid reporting, chilling tone, and consistently fascinating - albeit sleep-with-the-lights-on - content. Once, we found an interview with the narrator (who speaks so much differently when not doing the show) and he said something we think about often: “people want you to make things perfect.” He’s done that now on three channels, and done so with respect, talent, and hard work. I want to get into podcasting some day and if I were half as good at my show as this man, I’d be 100% happy with that. Thank you, sir, for your hard work. Your tone, whose purpose by the way is to maintain a sense of journalistic non-bias, speaks for itself. Pun intended.

The narrator sounds like Ben Stein’s brother with an even worse voice. Sounds like it’s supposed to be a joke, but who knows. Either way, it’s too irritating to listen to.

I cannot listen to this voice for more than a sentence. Zero personality

Relaxing and informative. Different tone and cadence but I find it works perfectly with the topics of choice. Keep it up.
