Comedic Genius
Crossbread is a work of comic & musical genuis. The talents of Declan Fey , Megan Washington, Chris Ryan & the Crossbread team are exceptional. The creation of this show has been divinely inspired. We are introduced to the audacious, rambunctious, anarchic Josh & his sarcasm filled sister Joan. Joan’s moral base line is the only aspect that helps with a reality check of their unexpected situation. We join these talented twins as they embark on a unexpected rise to the heights of Christian fame. What starts off as a one off performance to impress a girl & get some cash suddenly morphs into a snowball based on lies that gets out of control. Threaded throughout are hysterical moments triggering many giggles. A high calibre production that truly captures all the cultural elements of being Australian. I particularly appreciated the cameo from legendary iconic actor John Waters playing ‘The Rev’. One of my new favourite comics Aaron Chen playing Ken. Also loved Pradeep .. well I did, until he switched sides. Excellent music including the works of ‘John the Rapptist’. It was wonderful to once again hear the talents of Megan Washington. Do Universal have her on some type of indentured servitude ?? Ah.. the Faustian style contracts from Record Companies. Interesting fact , I only became aware of Crossbread via an American Podcast- The Truth doing a promo ; another awesome show. If you enjoyed other comedic audio dramas such as : EOS 10 Nym's Nebulous Notions Decoder Ring Theatre’s- Black Jack Justice Margaret Moves to Mars Attention Hell Mart Shoppers Atlas Avenue Beat Space Ward The Comedy Who Dunnit’s I believe you will like this show ! My final rating 10 /10 Highly recommended !!! Do subscribe and support this talented team. Fuel their motivation to produce more comedic podcasts.Read full review »

This podcast reminds me of South Park Season 7 Episode 9, Christian Rock Hard. Similar concept. I tried listening to this podcast but that growing up Christian/Catholic, although not currently practicing, I felt guilty. It’s a parody but it felt like a mockery. Ahh, I feel like a fuddy-duddy for...Read full review »
