I listen to this podcast regularly while working at a vineyard; Shake Ridge Ranch, Amador County. The name drop in the latest episode prompted me to write a review. Chappy invokes unique perpesctives from mostly CA wine professionals. His and his guests perspectives and experiences provide a lot...Read full review »

This is by far one of my favorite wine podcasts! Chappy’s know-how of the wine industry and ability to get people to open up and share their stories and experiences is one of a kind. I can’t wait to hear each episode every Monday and learn from the Incredible Cru guests!

Chappie does a great job of focusing on the CA market and, I think, shows a youthful, millennial perspective on the wine industry that you will be unlikely to find in other podcasts. Chappie’s guests vary from winemaker to brand builder to nationwide distributor to everything else connected to...Read full review »

If you are going to try to do a podcast for the public to hear, learn to speak English without using “fer sure,” “ya know”, “totally” and “like”. It is used so many times during the podcast it sounded like the vernacular from Valley Girl.

I really want to love this podcast - I think Chappuis does a great job in interviewing interesting people in the industry. However, this podcast is almost entirely American wine. If that’s your thing, cool. It’s not mine. Where are the French, Italian, Spanish wine makers? The three biggest wine...Read full review »

Cru is my go to "Jam" for the gym. For one thing, they are long enough to last my workouts but also, they are really well done and very interesting. The quality of people interviewed is fantastic. And Chappy's knowledge of wine/wine industry makes the interviews all that more...Read full review »

I love the Cru Podcast! This week’s episode with Sophie & James was especially inspiring! So happy for their success as they pursue their dream. Now if only I could get their wines in Switzerland ... Sophie, do you want to make a personal delivery to Geneva?

Sound quality issues; interviewer could be more dynamic, informed and articulate. The guests are fantastic and have wonderful stories to tell, just wish the format was better at unlocking them.

I have listened to many many wine podcasts and it can be difficult to make something that is so tactile come to life in a podcast. It is actually practical and works for those of us that are passionate about wine, want to learn more, toying with taking their interest to the next level but don’t...Read full review »

I really enjoy the interviews with such a variety of people I the wine industry. Great, honest questions and answers. My only critique is that at times the sound quality is terrible. Makes it annoying to listen to! Not a fan of the music either but I still love listening :)
