Very Biased and not enough information
I want to like this podcast. I really do. The problem though is that it is just too biased toward the industry. It is way over produced . If I hear one more "Cruise One" ad, I am going to start hiking instead of cruising. Listen to the podcast and you will see what I mean. Their topics are often quite good but they never seem to delve deep enough into one topic. As soon as they start talking about cruise insurance for example, they bring on this guy who sells it (and wants to sell it to you) and he never actually answers the questions. Do Pre-Existing conditions mean you won't get payment? Answer: Each policy is different. Very evasive. The Concordia Episode was the most striking. Instead of a discussion as to where things went wrong, the discussion was about how it will affect the industry. Their cruise lawyer guy is clearly a mouthpiece for the industry. If you want clear and unbiased cruise podcasting go to Cruize Cast or On Deck with Scott and Allie.Read full review »

I love this podcast. I especially like Doug's interviews of folks who have just returned from a cruise. It would be great to hear from first time cruisers or those who haven't taken a million cruises. The cruise ship restaurant reviews always make me long for my next tripRead full review »
