“I'll admit, it took me a few episodes (and not even in order) to really get into this podcast. I was skeptical because I don't have children and they seemed to talk about a lot of kids books. And I was a tiny bit worried that it would have an overtly religious (preachy) tone. But Kaytee and Meredith are absolutely amazing hosts and make every episode a thrill to listen to even if I don't think I'll directly relate to the topic. They've completely expanded my views and feelings towards "middle-grade fiction" and I appreciate how they stay true to themeselves and their personal values/ faith without it feeling condescending or judgemental. Now I've listened to each episode multiple times, my TBR list is a mile long, and I eagerly look forward to Monday and the release of the next episode.
