“As the song says, "I've heard a thousand stories of what they think You're like." I think this reveals a lot about who Jesus is; He is so much to so many. He's someone and something different to each of us in whatever season we are in. I've seen how Dad Tired is a fantastic representation of Jesus, as it has been a solid place for my situation in any season.
If you're a Christ-follower, a non-Christ-follower, a husband, father, engaged, male, female, black, white, or any other thing, there's something in this for you. Dad's: if you're wanting to grow your understanding of being a dad, this is the place. Husbands looking for somewhere to lean into your circumstances, this is your place. No matter where you find yourself physically, spiritually, emotionally, paternally, or even maritally, this is a place where raw openness is embraced.
