“I’ve been listening to the different history hit podcasts for awhile now, and I am a huge fan. That being said, your take on Graham Hancock was disappointing. I’m not saying he’s right, but to suggest everything he says is unsubstantiated is just wrong. He has gotten so many things right, but you stripped him of all credit. Of course he is angry at archaeologists and academics, they have been much more than “rude” to him for decades. The most disappointing thing was quoting the article that called ancient apocalypse “the most dangerous show on Netflix” in a serious way, without discussing how absurd and dangerous that criticism is in itself. How is it dangerous? Thinking outside the box is dangerous? Questioning the mainstream narrative is dangerous? Disagreeing with power brokers is dangerous? Come on, Dan. All that being said, still a big fan of History Hit”
