A couple of the players interrupt and talk over the DM and other players to such a degree that they prevent a clear scene to be set. It comes from excitement and a good time had, but it prevents that good time to be shared with others. The DM can barely get a word in.

Ugh
The loudest and most obnoxious nerds I've ever heard. It's as if they don't listen back to the recording. If they did, they would realize it's 90% female screaming, 5% food wrappers and chewing, and 5% D&D. Cannot recommend.

D&D Journey of the Fifth Edition has definite potential. The audio quality leaves something to be desired. I would like to have a recap before each episode to catch me up to speed. But I liked hearing the players deliberating about decisions while in character. I appreciated the in-character...Read full review »

Best amateur RPG podcast so far. Noisy? Yes. Professionals? No. But these are not professional actors, they're you and me; the average fans having a great time. And you can feel the friendship, awkward moments and all, without reservation. Stupidly daring!!! Rock on, good fellows and...Read full review »

Really great introduction to DnD 5th edition, players really take the prebuilt characters and make them their own, and the next season moving to the elemental evil campagin it's interesting to see the origional character the players made. Ladies and Gentlemen The Larch from the forges of Mirabar.

The issue with this podcast is that everyone was talking. When listening, there was 3 different conversations going on, and it was VERY hard to figure out what exactly was going on. One girl was really loud; kept going on about how cool her powers were while a guy was reading a rule book out loud...Read full review »

What a fun group! They sound like they have a good time and it's nice to see other female gamers!

Some people are loud and some I can barely hear. Turning up the volume just hurts my ears with this wide range of audio levels. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other negative reviews that the overall content is very obnoxious with constant laughing/screaming and distractions. The actual...Read full review »

It hurt my ears and made me sad. Try Pretend Wizards if you need a palate cleanser after listening to this drivel.

If you want to hear people screaming and laughing, listen to this garbage. If you want to hear people playing D&D 5E, listen to Brave New Dungeon or Dungeons & Diatribes: Saving Woes.

This show is great fun. The group has good chemistry. The adventure is well DM'd. Every episode brings a smile to my face. I am enjoying it more than the Critical Hit podcast.

Oh my goodness, what an exceptional D & D podcast! The game is well paced high adventure. The Storyteller weaves a landscape of images and actions, while the players immerse themselves in the world completing the tapesty. While listening, I am always caught up in the world, practically seeing...Read full review »

PROS: If you like listening to D&D adventures, primarily in 5th Edition, you can’t really do much better. A variety of personalities keeps things fresh. CONS: Mainly audio, it’s just bad. Eventually I had to turn the podcast off when one of the players kept pounding on the table, apparently where...Read full review »
