Founded in 1969 the Montreal Expos were a source of pride for its city, but with mismanaged leadership and bad luck, never saw the mountain top.
Due to financial woes, the Expos were relocated to Washington D. C., and renamed the Nationals.
Although the Montreal Expos are no longer an active MLB franchise, the city and its fans continue to have a strong connection to their baseball past.
Darryl Kile was a talented and respected Major League Baseball pitcher known for his fierce competitiveness on the mound.
