“It took me a while to come around to trusting Dean. I do find him authentic, sincere and knowledgeable after learning of his journey. I was in the midst of writing a book on the topic of successfully talking in front of others when on my drive how I listened to his podcast. In this podcast he gave me a golden nugget that spoke directly to the subject matter of my book. I always keep my eye out for such golden nuggets from whatever setting I find myself. The golden nugget was, (“What’s next?” not “Why this?”)
There are other ways to say it when referring to the point of a talk, but this captures in 5 words the ultimate reason for the talk. What more do I need to know so I can change and or improve my actions for the better for myself and those around me. Thank you Dean!”
