Enjoyable and fascinating but slow and rambling
I really enjoyed this, but in places the dialogue, discussion and review of progress are really repetitive and rambling, and sometimes there are just pauses for several seconds of atmospheric music which add nothing other than diluting the lack of content in that episode. It’s well researched and enjoyable, but there are some strangely mis-phrased claims, eg “using DNA, which did not exist in the 70’s” and “most women are killed by their partners”, you know what they mean but it’s strangely careless. Definitely worth a listen anyway - but it could have been compressed into half the number of episodes.

The best “first episode” I have heard for quite a while. What a thrill!

I’m sorry I thought we’d already had the preview.... or was that a prelude to the preview? What’s next ? Preview part 2?
