Like, these people can’t like speak English
It’s a shame, but the female speakers (not the host) on this show have such bad elocution skills that it’s sadly impossible to listen to the interesting content. Ratio of guys who use “like” as a millennial mind crutch is about 2x10. Not a sexist remark, just a real occurrence count on my first four episodes. I just can’t imagine how these people perform in the world of work. I unsubscribe to so many interesting podcasts featuring people 21-45 because of this unfortunate addition to the American lexicon. How can the producers add tress’s this? A real management problem...maybe screen your interviewees and challenge those addicted to this stuttering phenomenon so they HEAR themselves, get the feedback, and -hopefully-recognize this serious limitation in their skill set, and attempt to change. I’m told by speech therapists that this is such an unconscious stutter variation that professional help is often necessary. Best wishes...
