Enormous compassion
I've loved Ken Page's work for years now, referencing (for example), his concept of attractions of deprivation vs. inspiration in my own life as well as with my clients. One of the things i MOST love about his work is that he brings a perspective of incredible compassion to an area where many people are accustomed to feeling shamed for just being human. For example, you don't merely tell someone who's feeling/acting needy that that "is only going to drive people away" and leave it at that—because that does not offer a person a way OUT of neediness. (Listen to episode #8 that Ken shares with Dr. Margaret Paul to really hear this in action. Dr. Paul is awesome as well, but you can really hear what I'm describing in Ken's counterpoints, in certain moments where some listeners might feel their shame triggered without what Ken brings through.) For this, his work offers a potential for healing where even other dating coaches often miss the boat. What Ken stands for truly is DEEPER dating: not just behavioral changes, but embracing and addressing the whole person behind the arising behaviors. Ken's work is invaluable already, and it transmits so powerfully through his loving voice in this beautiful podcast. ~ KarlitaRead full review »

Love the content but the past couple of episodes we can hear him swallowing quite noticeably - really off putting for the listener! Maybe mic is too close or something?
