A thoughtful and engaging exploration of the Catholic abuse crisis
This is a great podcast that is accessible and rewarding to both Catholics and non-Catholics, regardless of the listeners’ spirituality, and approaches its sensitive subject with the respect and professionalism it deserves, all while maintaining an all round earnest yet neutral tone. It is deeply informative and well-rounded in its discussions about the church’s history, culture, theology and ecclesiastical structure while maintaining its primary focus on the human element, especially when it features several abuse survivors tell their stories. Each episode builds on each to get at the larger picture of what the abuse crisis reflects about the church, what is being done and what should be done to address it.

Though challenging to hear, as any podcast of this subject matter would be, this podcast is doing an excellent job of providing us an avenue to walk with the victims and understand more about the sex abuse crisis in the Church. Thank you America Media and Maggi Van Dorn for this podcast.
