“As much as I tried to connect to this character, I couldn’t. That’s really the only reason why I didn’t enjoy this one. While she may be passionate and hard working, and trying to bring closure to “the mothers”, she was also a country music listening lady cop who seemed to somehow reject things like “hip hop” or things she seemed were reflective of her culture. Almost ashamed. To me that really framed her as someone I wasn’t really rooting for. I dunno. Loved dirty John, didn’t care for this one.”
