I wasn't an ultra runner until I left West Texas at the age of 19. Wow, Emma is the embodyment of everything I love about ultratrail running and this story is the epitome of it. Essentially revived from what looked like death or close to it, to a killer second-to-DFL at Wasatch 100 2022. I was at Ant Knolls and took the photo of her laying on the ground. The No Business 100 is a beast. As I explore races outside of the Western United States I love finding these large communities of ultra runners who love their races. No Business 100 is 14,500' of gain across 102 miles in a section of forest about 60 miles from the Barkley Marathons. Whew.
