Not To Be Missed
As a Canadian who was lucky enough to come across this band from the Netherlands over thirty years ago it has been my joy to follow them since. From discovering their back catalogue to eagerly getting each new release, and seeing concerts whenever possible, it's been a wonderful journey, one that's not over yet. Now, in celebration of their 50th anniversary Eric Facon has created an in-depth look at those amazing 50 years. And he's done a thorough and rewarding job. This podcast is a pure pleasure to listen to. Moving effortlessly back and forth between the history, memories, opinions and philosphophies of the band, it's a warming voyage through the music that means so much to me and many others. Listening to it also manages to evoke a real feeling of fellowship with all the fans I've met, or know through the internet. As well as providing such a huge gift for Nits fans I hope this podcast will encourage some newcomers to discover the band, there is a wealth of music waiting for them.Read full review »

This is such a fascinating and beautifully put together series. Even if you are not a fan of Nits (…and why not? ), this is a measured and thoughtful example of how to do a podcast about a band. I think it’s fitting that such a unique group of musicians should have a documentary that succeeds...Read full review »
