What a moron

If you’ve listened for a while you can hear the different iterations as he tries to find his grift, which he has promptly found as an anti vaxxer.

I used to value the info from Kevin Bass, but recently realized he’s a grifter.

I was drawn to his IG page and podcast to get an alternative perspective on what Huberman presents. I made a pretty Innocuous comment on his IG about finding some of his attacks on others off putting and was blocked immediately after. I am not sure how you gain followers with his aggressive...Read full review »

Great job debunking the mass of health misinformation out there using science based arguments. Keep it up! 👍🏻

Although Kevin is generally well informed it’s obvious that he’ll do anything for attention. He often holds other professionals to standards that he doesn’t hold himself to. He’ll lambast others for not using rigorous enough studies to support their claims but has no problems using even weaker...Read full review »

A bit to assertive on some topics where there aren’t a clear cut answer. But over all really good information and a podcast well worth listening to!

Kevin has a very prickly personality that makes him overly combative and always feels the need to show he is the smartest guy in the room. That blinds him to research that disagrees with his personal bias, rendering his ideas untrustworthy.

As a PhD student, not in the field of nutrition, I find great value in Kevins podcast. I trust that everything he says has been carefully reviewed and is always evidence based.

So good to actually listen to some real evidence based Science rather than the pseudoscientific rubbish put out by the likes of Huberman and his cult followers. Keep up the good fight 💪🏻

Does not answer questions on Twitter, its rude.

I listened to this thinking it would be another awesome science podcast, and instead it’s a podcast dije by someone who has gone out of their way to try to hurt someone else’s career. Andrew Huberman states the facts. He always sites the science. He never tries to peer pressure anyone. He always...Read full review »

I truly enjoy your podcast now. You are good at pointing out confounding variables that often belie the title or even the abstract of scientific studies. At first I was put off by your attacks on, but not your disagreement with both Rhonda Patrick and Andrew Huberman. I think you owe them...Read full review »

Funny, Informative, Interesting Kevin’s show is funny interesting and informative. If you like debunking nutrition BS, this is the podcast for you. He’s also easy on the eyes, that helps (on YouTube). -BKD

If you don’t like science it’s not for you. I have only recently been made aware of Kevin after seeing an Instagram post liked by Dr Layne Norton. I am a huge fan of Dr Norton, so any endorsement by him gets my vote. Like Dr Norton, Kevin drills into nutrition related topics, and crucially...Read full review »

Seems like he could do a goos job of providing addition context to other people's videos he's debunking, but he manages to make his ego rise to the surface theougout. He gives you counter studies to the studies he debunking and basically doing the same thing he accuses others of doing....Read full review »

If you’re tired of health influencers peddling extremely tenuous conclusions based on controversial interpretations of tiny studies then this podcast is for you. Kevin’s approach to interpreting data is so refreshing. Easy 5 star rating!

Interesting to take part in, raises new ideas for research.

Kevin knows his stuff, does his research and backs up his arguments. He also isn’t afraid to call out the many quacks and grifters that aim to increase their prestige or fill their bank accounts by using pseudoscience but pretending it’s the truth. And he calls them out by name, and tells you why...Read full review »

Misinformation is rampant and it’s nice to see someone communicate the research out there and what it’s truly saying. But Kevin needs to do a much better job at communicating ideas through a systematic approach (much to the same as the people he opposes which is why their message gets out too)....Read full review »

Articulating circle arguments with weakly tird researched topics or with empty claims for 30minutes isn’t enough to “debunk” carefully researched and thoughtfully presented findings. Several podcasts start with nonstarters or strawman arguments and then present feeble claims in weak relations to...Read full review »

Seriously, I have followed Kevin for sometime and he is my go to for true facts and the science to back it up. We need more Kevin’s in the world! Be like Kevin Bass and leave the clowns behind!

Great podcast to break down the misinformation surrounding weight loss and obesity. Also covers promising new treatments. Probably slightly better on YouTube since you will also be able to see the video aspect, but strong as a standalone.

When covid started I did work to learn about human health to avoid making people who live around me sick. Everything I was seeing as potentially relevant both this dude had already written about in greater depth and with more accuracy than I could ever do on my own. Kevin does a great deep dive into debunking pseudo science or claims that’s become hyperbole. Most criticism comes from zealots.
John Helix via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/27/22
So much conflicting advice about diet and health around, it can be hard for a lay person to know where to start and what to believe. What does “the science” say? Quite often, not what the authors of diet books and other “gurus” claim it says, or at the very least, it is more nuanced than it is...Read full review »

Really like going over studies in detail. Given the field is crowded by so many pseudo scientific sources, a thorough debunking like this show does is very useful indeed!

I love his podcast (even though he dedicated a whole episode to debunking me). Five stars!

I tried listening to Episode 3, regarding the current Keto Diet fad, but I could only make it 22 minutes into the program, before I had to end the suffering and delete the podcast from my device. Poor science, slating others rather than debating, sharing or listening. His podcast is as poor as his inflammatory twitter feed, very self obsessed. Now deleted this podcast in favour of better science and interesting debate Zero stars
