Excellent! Great lecture! Great proffessor!
Hello, I´m student of computer science in germany, and i downloaded this course about differential equations to watch and learn sth. on my way to work / university. I downloaded this because of its origion ( MIT) to check their lecture standards and because of my interest in the differential equations. The length with about 50 mins each is perfect for me. The professor Haynes Miller is in my opinion a great prof, funny and he knows what he´s talking about. So he doesn´t solve any differential equation in the first two or thee lectures, he starts out with the geometrically view and understanding. The board writing is perfect, you can always follow it and see(!) it on the video frame. As well is the camera behavior, which is great. You can always see the important parts of the board and of course the professor. Well, altogether i can only recommand this lecture to all the pupils, students etc. who want to get in touch with the DEs. And don´t be afraid of the MIT standard, it´s not that high :-) I hope this is helpfull. Bye
