Prof Mattuck is a good academic, but is not a very good lecturer.He is not clear, often confusing and disorganised. Often it seems that he has not done any preparation for his presentations.

The lectures are entertaining in the best sense, and provide a good overview about the subject. Unnecessary difficulties arising from being overly general (e.g. N equations instead of just two) are avoided.
