The Directive must be Televised!
I stumbled upon the Directive this afternoon and listened to the entire podcast in one sitting. I was absolutely captivated by this dystopian tale of Frank Toress and his seemingly mundane life being catapulted into an intergalactic care-taking mission. I couldn’t help but assimilate this into one of the many Black Mirror episodes I’ve watched and enjoyed, over the past year. It was only after Episode 6, did all the moving parts connect to reveals this amazingly layered story. I don’t want to say too much in this review, it needs to be listened to. Well done to the team involved in the creation of this brilliant podcast. I will definitely share this with friends. Sincerely, Chris Shezi @chrisseptember

This series takes a nice dive into one of my favorite aspects of science: the human mind. Technology is often seen as frightening only when AI rise to rebel against humans, but honestly, humans are much more terrifying when left to their own devices. I got some great Moon (2009) vibes from this.
