Life Coaching at its best!
When someone has been through a traumatic and difficult period in their lives, when all around them comes tumbling down it’s so refreshing to hear from them talk so openly and graciously how they turned their lives around. To turn such a negative into a positive shows the power of the mind and how life coaching can help assist with this. Being allowed to finally have a voice, open and honest and proven innocent is not only a relief but self liberating in itself. In todays “cancel culture” it’s all too easy for people hiding behind their screens and VPN’s to stick the knife in, whether they know the facts or not they want their opinion heard and no one else’s. Very much it’s now you’ve been accused so you’re guilty until you can prove yourself innocent, where did this all go so wrong? Society used to be innocent until proven guilty but with social media it only takes a few moments to spread gossip, misinformation and accusations. I’m so glad the police thoroughly investigated this and concluded there are no grounds for charges. If there has been for sure they would have presented their evidence to the prosecution authorities. I love the fact that the senior investigators advice to Sylvia, “Find better friends” ha! Amazing! I’ve enjoyed these first two episodes as I like how Daniel’s interview style allows Sylvia to open up and tell all. She is so magnanimous in not pursuing those 100+ persons who made false accusations. And they’re lucky too that the police didn’t prosecute them for time wasting, but it’s understandable when there has been sp much public money and time spent on this. I love the quality of the studio production, very comforting set design and I can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating quality content. I also love the mix of business and relationships, it’s a unique blend and a poignant angle that a lot of podcasts in this sector miss out on. Having run several businesses myself, I know the importance of carefully choosing a business partner. Sylvia’s experiences reinforce this and places her in a position of wisdom and to be able to coach others. The fact that Dan also runs several successful businesses lends credibility to their advice. Best of all I was entertained by the format, amused at the anecdotes and informed with the facts. So to Dan and Sylvia, I’d like to say thank you and keep up the good work, don’t listen to the detractors, your work and standards are high and above any such petty nonsense spouted by the trolls. My mom always said if you have nothing good to say then say nothing but if you have something good to say then let people hear!
