The Bread of Anxious Toil

Description
"Eating the bread of anxious toil." How does that make you feel? Well, the Discover the Word group goes on a journey this week, searching for the word "toil" in the Bible. They'll start at the beginning in the story of Creation in Genesis, touch down twice in the middle of the Old Testament, and then find the word "toil" in two New Testament passages. And interestingly, in following the theme of "toil" in the Bible, we discover that this idea, in a lot of ways, tells the story of the Bible, and points to some freeing and life-giving teaching of Jesus that will make the time we spend toghether this week worthwhile. Join the group at the table for this study called The Bread of Anxious Toil.   WAYS TO LISTEN & SUBSCRIBE: 📱On our website: https://www.discovertheword.org 🎧Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3x2Swlq 🎧Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3mk8ra1 🎧Amazon Music: https://amzn.to/3D9Tttv 🎧Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3x7gMD3 LOOKING FOR MORE EPISODES of the Discover the Word Podcast?
