Kind Of A Split Review for Both Disgraceland And 27 Club
Hi everyone! Because of the fact that I have a day off from work today, I wanted to write this post in order to tell you guys about two podcasts that I have gotten into and think are awesome; they are actually the only podcasts that I am subscribed to. Usually, I think folks would leave one review for one of these podcasts and then another review for the other podcast. I thought since I quite enjoy both of these podcasts that I would write a combined post in order to talk about both of them. They are 27 Club and DISGRACELAND!! Since discovering them several months ago, I have become such a big fan of both of these great podcasts! I also received the DISGRACELAND book (DISGRACELAND: Musicians Getting Away with Murder and Behaving Very Badly) as a Christmas gift this past Christmas, which I have been reading off and on for the past few weeks or so. The writing, the storytelling, and the stories themselves are wonderful in both of these podcasts and in this book!! I would definitely recommend 27 Club if you are a fan of and/or are interested in the 27 Club (Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Robert Johnson...). Additionally, of course, if you are a music lover, I would definitely check it out! I would very much recommend the DISGRACELAND podcast to any and all music lovers, too; aso many great artists of many different genres are discussed (Guns n’ Roses, Johnny Cash, Rick James, The Grateful Dead,...)! I would also definitely suggest giving DISGRACELAND and 27 Club a listen to if you maybe aren’t necessarily the biggest fan of music, but are intrigued by stories of extraordinary individuals doing extraordinary things and getting into extraordinary situations (usually bad situations)! In closing, I wanted to include a very big thank you to Jake Brennan and to the mighty talented people who help you and/or are involved with DISGRACELAND, 27 Club, and the DISGRACELAND book!! And congratulations to you all on all of the success that you have achieved! In particular, congratulations on Season 5 of DISGRACELAND!!! *Just in case, I wanted to mention, too: DISGRACELAND, 27 Club, and the DISGRACELAND book are not for kids. They contain mature language and discuss mature topics. #rockarolla #subsribetoDIGRACELAND #subsribeto27club #ihopethatiamdoingthishashtaggingstuffcorrectly

True crime, sold. True crime AND rock ‘n roll?!?! HELLS YEAH!! Great listen, keeps you gripped to the story with each twist and turn. You’ve seen the headlines, but do you know the story? Listen in as Jake delivers all the dirty details! \m/
