Christofer has some great qualities as an interviewer. His questions are insightful and create a really nice flow of conversation in each episode. His interests and curiosity also make for an unusual and rare set of topics being covered by the show, making it one which fills a gap in the...Read full review »

I first learned about Do Explain as I’m a big fan of David Deutsch and listened to his interview. I really like how the host takes the ideas of Critical Rationalism and applies them to a wide variety of topics. I find Christopher’s questions to each guest to be very insightful and lead to deeper,...Read full review »

Do Explain is a great podcast that presents insightful and interesting conversations centered on themes of knowledge and progress. Despite the headiness of some of the philosophical topics that Christofer and his guests discuss, the podcast manages to stay light with lots of jokes and charming...Read full review »

Awesome podcast on epistemology and rational optimism, with a good sense of humor to boot! 😆

A fantastic podcast! Centres mostly around bold ideas of critical rationalism, which gives you very satisfying answers that others seem to endlessly grapple with, and debate. Also Chris is a great interviewer( and hilarious). Real eye opener listening to the people he brings on.

I loved the podcast because it’s taking Deutsch/Popper ideas to next level. Just one recommendation- would love to see you play more of a devil’s advocate. These ideas need more criticism.

Do Explain is great. Christofer, the host, is very good at what he does and there is always an interesting guest on to share their knowledge. Each episode is an excellent and oftentimes funny discussion of philosophical and scientific ideas. Would highly recommend.

Chistopher and his guests share a common Deutschian world view which results in a thoughtful mode of rendering good explanations over and over and over again. This epistemological commonground creates for a very specific type of consistency and reliability of discussion that is uncommon amidst...Read full review »

Christofer was born to be a podcast host! The first 7 episodes are fantastic and I can’t wait for this series to continue and see what’s next. This is already one of the best and most important podcasts out there: rich and often humorous content diving into all walks of life, with Popperian...Read full review »

I highly recommend the Do Explain conversational podcast. Whether you are interested in, for example, David Deutsch's Popperian philosophy, AGI, libertarian/capitalist thought, or the self-development implications of fallibilist optimistic critical rationalism and how that intersects with the...Read full review »

This podcast is absolutely fascinating, and of all the podcasts I listen to (MANY!) this is my all time favourite. It is vibrant, alive, optimistic, truth-seeking, open to criticism— rational! — and enormous fun. I love the good-natured enjoyable arguments — this podcaster’s playfulness in...Read full review »

First, it is so fun and entertaining. Yet, this podcast is a great way to digest philosophy of Karl Popper and David Deutsch. Anyone should have a try.

Great podcast for anyone interested in philosophy and science. It is similar to the Very Bad Wizard podcast (but better): the host, Christofer Lövgren, has interesting, laid-back conversations with guests and covers big topics, like AGI and the philosophy of science. I highly recommend it.

I’m usually more of an “arts guy”, but Christopher has a way of breaking down philosophy so that ANYBODY (even me) can follow. I appreciate the humor and lightheartedness and interesting guests!
