Where’s the genuine curiosity?
I appreciate the amount of work that likely goes into selecting the topics - which are great! - procuring the guests, and editing/curating these podcasts. Also, I’m frustrated by the lack of genuine curiosity on the part of the host toward those guests. Rather than letting the guests convey their expertise and do most of the talking, the host seems more concerned with conveying her own experiences and asking ‘perfect’ questions. The topics are interesting and relevant, and I want to like this podcast. Also, I’m taking a break from it and might return to it in the future.

More reviews of Do The Thing, with Whole30's Melissa Urban
I listen to a lot of 30 minute podcasts and this one has far more ads. So frustrating and distracting. I also wish there was background music during the ads to separate them.
