Just brilliant - my desert island podcast. Makes me literally LOL every time but is also full of GOLDEN advice which has improved my freelance (and parenting) life no end. If you’re freelance and you’re a parent, you need this in your ears.

I love this podcast. Listening to Steve and Frankie share their experience in response to community questions is like having a warm hug. It’s reassuring to hear that we share in the challenges of juggling the freelance/parent life!

The episodes are short and sweet, I can get through 80% of a show on the drive from home to school to get kids. I’m not even freelance (yet) but the information is helpful in making me feel empowered to leave the 9-5 … though I’d probably listen even if I loved my job because the banter is so, so...Read full review »

As a freelance copywriter (and mum of two) it's super helpful to get suggestions or '2 cents' on what to do & how to cope from people who are experiencing the same set of doubts, joys and client issues. The fact that Steve and Frankie sound like your pals in the pub, helps as well...Read full review »

I love how Frankie and Steve sum up the crazy and joy of running a business around a family. I often have to stifle my laughing while the ‘employed’ parent in the room is trying to be serious on work calls. Knowing I’m not alone in this chaos keeps me sane.

I really wanted some business advice from the third best Business Podcast in Britain, so I had a couple of kids in order to qualify as a listener. I love these podcasts. They seem to be able to tap right into what it feels like to be a freelancing parent, and they make you realise you are on the right track. Although, as my first name is Nigel and second name Richard I’m starting to think there’s something personal going on here 😳
