First found this podcast through the Jessica DeFino episode and I have been loving it since! Both the more recent episodes and the backlog. I also really enjoyed the episode with Venetia La Manna on the myths of fast fashion.

Fascinated in this subject having changed a negative personality into a positive one. Compelling and thought provoking podcast with David Robson based on science. Look forward to more…

Love the themes and discussions but often miss a more scientific discussion. For instance the episode on skincare was unfuriating. I understang the premise of sociocultural construction of the beauty industry and standars but the interwee saying that we don't need skincare products is a...Read full review »

Love the rapport and trust pandora has with her guests. This is a great extension of her book published a few years ago - a great read.

It is so wonderful that this episode exists! I work with people with dementia and it is so important that we hear and learn from people with the condition. Wendy and Pandora thank you for such a incredibly important episode. I recommend this podcast a lot, but will be doing so even more now x

Love Pandora’s journalism. The Jessica DeFino episode is really enlightening.

I’ve listened to this podcast since it first came out and have always really enjoyed it but was particularly moved by today’s episode with Wendy Mitchell. It was so interesting to learn more about dementia - there are so many aspects to it that I wasn’t aware of and wish I had been before my...Read full review »

Doing it Right and Pandora in particular taps into issues or ideas that I am already thinking about but also asks questions from the same vantage point I am also considering. It’s wholly satisfying to get closer to the answers and sometimes make peace with no answer . . . But, best of all, the...Read full review »

Love a podcast that is not scared to explore human issues and treat them with respect and compassion. Similar to the brilliant Where is my Mind podcast on Spotify

I am really enjoying these episodes and find the topics very relevant and interesting, and a great choice of guests. My only tiny criticism would be that the host sometimes sounds like she is reading the questions out from a sheet of pape and the guest’s response is edited in later, which spoils...Read full review »

I’ve come lately to this compelling podcast(living in Australia), and already finding myself falling down fascinating rabbit holes specifically through the episodes I’ve listened to. Thank you Pandora Sykes for identifying the need for this rich content, your considered research and questions and...Read full review »

As others have said - this was just a ramble about Joe lycetts life and what he has done which (is you have listened to other podcast he has been on or know the person) most people already know. There was no deep dive into current topics or anything. Really boring. Sorry I’m a fan of the high low...Read full review »

Just loved the conversation between Pandora and Stacey - so thoughtful, insightful and considered. Stacey as lovely and humble as ever and Pandora on top form with great questions! Highly recommend.

Pandora is so very great, especially on this podcast. She is so professional, the guests are excellent (some I had never heard of before), and it’s a joy to listen to. Please make more! Can’t wait to read the book. Will order it soon.

I love this podcast; started off great but I really can’t miss an episode. Fantastic guests who can tap on the zeitgeist (cultural, societal and otherwise) and great questions from the host. Great work

I love this podcast mini-series. The Stacey Dooley ep is particularly good.

As a huge fan of the High Low I was so excited to hear that Pandora had decided to go it alone - and have not been disappointed. Fascinating guests (Sinead Burke was wonderful) and Pandora manages to get a really in depth and honest conversation going with each of them. It’s warm and cosy and...Read full review »

Pandora Sykes is so smart and leaves no stone unturned researching around her interviewees. Incredibly current topics to keep us listeners interested. Can’t wait for the next one!

A brilliant podcast which has a great mix of humour and serious. Pandora comes across as really smart and generous, and I love the blend of the small and big things – it really makes you think but not in a heavy way... perfect thing to listen to while at home to make you feel like you’re chatting...Read full review »

Love listening to Pandora and her guests. Been a fan since Pandolly, and followed her ever since. Enjoying her book too. Hope this series continues. Sinead Burke blew me away and Dotty Charles just sounds like the voice of reason!

Love Dotty, so much to say. If you like here but prefer less of Pandora’s pretentiousness then she has a wicked podcast on BBC sounds.

Pandora does it again! With her calm and intelligent approach, she gives you a lovely escape with fascinating guests and thoughtful conversations. Nothing has tamed my anxiety in this difficult time like this podcast!
LrisV via Apple Podcasts · Netherlands · 07/20/20
But I can’t. Pandora is a clever person and insightful. But she is not a good interviewer. Would almost be better with her questions edited out.. listen to Louis theroux’s “Grounded” for great interviews.

It comes at no surprise how much I enjoyed this podcast as I LOVE The High Low. Pandora is such a considered and articulate host. I look forward to the High Low coming out most Wednesday’s during lockdown in Melbourne and now I look forward to this coming out every Monday!

Loved it, love the choice of guests. Didn’t know much about Sinead’s or Joe’s work before turning in. Can’t wait for rest of the series

Love the combination of hearing the perspective of the guest, but also Pandora’s views e.g her thoughts on nice and kind. I often find myself thinking about the things that Pandora talks about in articles or on The High Low but can’t articulate or organise them in my mind the way Pandora does, so...Read full review »

Always so thoughtful and so well attuned to the current climate, Pandora sees the world with such intuition. Loved the Sinead Burke episode the most- this should be compulsory listening for everyone without a disability.

For all of us still working at home we need conversations like this to keep us going through the day. Thank you Pandora for bringing this brilliant podcast to us. You are brilliant and I can’t wait to hear more. 8 episodes is not enough!
