“Episodes 1 and 2 had me all excited for an excellent series, but the podcast wandered around too much after that. Skip the episode about “Jolene” if you don’t want that beautiful, haunting song ruined for you forever. I realize the title is “Dolly Parton’s America,” not “All About Dolly Parton,” but still, more Dolly, fewer ramblings by the host and others about topics that have little to nothing to do with Dolly would have made this a much more enjoyable series.”
