Normally great but not the ECHR episode
Normally I think this podcast is very interesting - unpicking legal questions in the media in a thoughtful but comprehensible way. However the episode on the EHRA and ECHR was a real disappointment. The punchline was 'the law and the court are all great, we just need to explain it better' and the whole episode was spent arguing against any challenge of the law and court. I'm not an expert but surely there must be legitimate criticisms of the way something that's been there for tens of years works now? Eg risk judicial overreach, lack of accountability, how members are appointed. Really disappointing to such a one sided view when I wanted to listen to the podcast to understand the pros and cons.Read full review »

Very interesting examination of legal issues of relevance to everyone, not only lawyers, without political party point-scoring. Appreciate the new-and-improved audio equipment! Thank you.
