Sorry, We're Not All Rich
I'm a big CBB, U Talkin' U2 to Me, and Birthday Boys fan, so when I saw a podcast with Mike Mitchell I was immediately on board. I had hoped it would be some more nonsensical, vaguely on-topic fun like the magic made by Scott and Scott. However, this podcast comes up short. Nick Wiger takes the podcast, and himself, way too seriously. I have enjoyed Mitch and the guest on each episode so far, but Nick just makes the whole thing a little too snobby. The whole conversation about how they have contempt for the "deal guy," the people who wait in lines to get free things or try to save a few dollars really put me off. Not all of us are in the entertainment industry with enough money to put on our own podcasts, and for some of us every dollar counts. Nothing wrong with being frugal and looking for ways to save. The input and reviews on the fast food restaurants are mildly enjoyable at times, mostly straightforward with non-comical opinions on the food they had and their overall experience. Nick Wiger keeps the podcast moving and on-topic, so there's not a lot of room for goofing around. I guess my expectations were set too high and nothing will ever be the same as U Talkin' U2 to Me when it comes to niche comedy podcasts. I'll give it some time and keep trying for Mitch, but I have been disappointed so far.Read full review »

It also gives me a good idea of what to get and avoid at...Read full review »

In a world where food snobbery is all the rage, this unpretentious and earnest review of chain restaurants is a breath of fresh air.

For a podcast about fast food chain restaurants it pretty entertaining and the chemistry between Mitch and Nick is undeniable. 5 forks!
