Doughboys... NOT half-baked
Nick Wiger & Mike Mitchell, two comedic writers doing a podcast about chain restaurants? No, they're not food critics and THAT is what makes this a great idea. They think like Joe Everyman (a pretty enlightened thinker, from what I hear) and analyze their dining experiences as I and (I assume) others would. They're very thorough with their assessments and even order menu items not necessarily that are their favorites (see ep 3, french toast). they cover every aspect of their experience and do so in a fun and funny way. Adding the snack segment, listener questions & yelp reviews is a nice addition, as well. Oh, and each of their (3, so far) guests have been very good as well.Read full review »

More reviews of Doughboys
Wish they'd do fewer chains that are restricted to California, and more national chains. But even with that, it's still a very fun podcast that I really enjoy.Read full review »

Fantastic hilarious pod that I look forward to every week despite the fact I rarely even eat chain restaurant foods

As a big fan of the sketch group The Birthday Boys and Mike Mitchell, I was glad to come across this wonderful podcast. I rarely go to chain restaurants yet this hilarious and actually informative show has me hooked. Five forks!
