“I wanted to love this podcast. As a new doula, the topic titles were both exciting and spoke directly to my curiosities, and I couldn’t wait to delve into the expertise and experience of well practiced pros. Instead, I got lengthy, belabored advertisements, self promotion, lots of personal off topic tangents and a strong sense of superiority over other birth workers. I tried to hang in for multiple episodes, but the latest involved all of this shorthand lingo about ‘DISC’ personality types that feels TOTALLY irrelevant for most of their audience. I’m out, still seeking a good doula pod.”
